Who attends VES? At VES, your friends will be from all over the country as well as the world! Last year, our 268 students represented 18 different states and seven foreign countries. Just think, you'll have the opportunity to experience what it's like to be a teenager in Germany, Korea, Mexico, and Bermuda. You'll learn about different customs and cultures, clothing styles and music. Who knows, you may even get a chance to experience life abroad firsthand when you visit your new VES friends in their home countries during summer break. Our small student body allows us to maintain a tight-knit community of familiar faces. You'll appreciate our small size in more ways than one. We maintain an average class size of 12-14 students, and the overall student-to-teacher ratio is 6:1. Both in and out of the classroom, you'll get to know almost everyone else at VES--other students, teachers and their families. Of the 40 faculty members at VES, 70% live on campus with their families, who share mealtimes and free time with students. We understand the importance of a safe, loving environment!
